Shri Rama Rao took over the reins of V.G.S. and running it successfully with the help of his brothers and sons, he as Chairman & Managing Director and his younger brother Shri Narayana Rao as Director. Predicting the future business growth and needs, they extended their activities to Vijayawada in 1972. To reach different parts of the united Andhra Pradesh, they opened a branch at Hyderabad. To meet the huge quantities of books in different fields they promoted V.G.S. Book Links which acts as a subsidiary to V.G.S. Publishers. Shri Rama Rao learnt ethics, traits and secrets and strived hard for the expansion of the business. He developed contacts with teachers, writers, distributors for the book business. They printed text books, work books, guides, study materials, question banks for the schools and colleges which have high quality print and best content and became very popular. They also ventured into printing devotional books which are really a landmark. His manner is perfectly amicable with other competitive publishers, printers and book sellers. He achieved all this with his talent, effort, persistence, continuous hard work, and foresight. His business acumen and commercial discipline brought fame and prestige and kept V.G.S. at the top of the printing & publishing industry.
