1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions govern all sales of books, publications, and printing services by VGS Publishers to customers.
2. Orders
Once order is placed, confirmation will be sent as a token of receipt. This does not constitute acceptance of the order.
3. Pricing
All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price applicable is the price at the time of order confirmation.
For bulk orders, educational institutions, and government contracts, special pricing may apply and will be quoted separately.
4. Payment
Payment Methods: We accept cash, cheque, bank transfer, UPI, credit cards, and debit cards.
Payment Terms:
- Retail customers: Payment in full at the time of order
- Institutional buyers: As per agreed credit terms (typically 30-60 days)
- Custom printing orders: 50% advance, balance on delivery
Late Payment: For credit accounts, interest may be charged on overdue amounts at 2% per month or as per agreed terms.
5. Delivery
Delivery Area: We deliver across India. International shipping is available for select publications.
Delivery Time: Standard delivery takes 7-15 business days depending on location. Express delivery options are available at additional cost.
Delivery Charges: Shipping charges are calculated based on weight, destination, and delivery speed.
Risk of Loss: Risk of loss passes to the customer upon delivery to the carrier.
6. Custom Printing Orders
For custom printing services, specifications must be provided in writing. Changes after production has commenced may incur additional charges. Proofs will be provided for approval before final production.
7. Quality Standards
We maintain high quality standards for all our publications and printing services. Minor variations in color, binding, or paper quality are inherent in the printing process and do not constitute defects.
8. Inspection
Customers should inspect products upon receipt. Any visible damage or discrepancies must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
9. Title and Ownership
Title to products remains with VGS Publishers until full payment is received.
10. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or material shortages.
11. Taxes
All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Customers are responsible for all applicable taxes, including GST.
12. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with any quotation or order confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding the sale of products.
